Opportunity:
Lever Arch Files are widely used to archive important documents but can also be used as portable storage files. The objective was to create a "better" Lever Arch File by refreshing an often overlooked product and task. Understanding user behavior provided opportunities to improve upon the durability, ring mechanism and archiving system of a Lever Arch File.
Durability:
The Lever Arch File is constructed using plastic and soft TPE, providing strength at the weakest points, the spine and edges.

Circular pull hole, allows for easy access when files, binders, books, etc. are tightly packed on shelves.
Labeling:
Large re-usable label, provides users with more space to document important files.

Soft durometer TPE, provides comfortable touch points, making carrying heavy files easier.

Arch shaped ring mechanism, opens and closes with a simple push of a finger.
